After just missing the World Championship last season, I'm really ready this time. I know I can win races
but my concentration level has to improve throughout the whole race. For the fourth season, I'm still with
the McLaren-Honda team, along with Bob. The team has maintained its faith in me, but I know that now is
the time to deliver the goods. I have a brand-new joystick and I'm going for it!
Well, I did it! I won the World Championship! Finally, this season seemed to go fairly smoothly
after some of the traumas of the previous three. I always knew I was quick, but learning patience and
maintaining the concentration needed for the entire race, for the entire season has been very difficult! My
best race was definitely Estoril, not just because I clinched the World Championship there, but because
I dominated practice and the race. During the course of the season, I still showed I was capable of
immaturity and brain-fade, my worst race probably being Mexico City. I was down to nine pole positions
from 12 last season, but I had a total of nine wins, the most important statistic. I really enjoyed the
ceremony the simulation played for me, the World Champion, at the end of the season. I've had a lot of
fun and learned a lot during my Grand Prix career!
